"The 1st Annual Pedalpalooza will be held over the weekend of May 22-23 throughout McHenry County utilizing our incredible McHenry County Conservation District bike trail system. A DIY bike event like no other as we rally our community together to support our awesome local, small businesses while bringing awareness and much needed funds to local nonprofit, Family Health Partnership Clinic. Start anywhere, end anywhere- it's up to you! Plan your route to make sure you stop at as many businesses as you can!
Participants will receive a super cool Tshirt, wristband and map upon registering and will bike to different Pedalpalooza locations (restaurants, breweries, shops) along the route. Each location will offer the participating bikers a special discount, offer or raffle of their own choosing. Your wristband must be worn as it is your passport to fabulous offers from our local small business community! Driving business into each small business is our mission while still benefitting the Clinic- it’s a win-win!
Supporting local small businesses is crucial to our community! But also, just as important, is ensuring that all of our community members have access to quality health care, especially during this time. Which is why your registration fee and any donations go directly to Family Health Partnership Clinic!
FHPC is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of caring for the uninsured men and women of McHenry County. The Clinic does not rely on federal or state funding and instead relies solely on grants, foundations and the generosity of our community supporters that believe we are here to care for one another."
